​Katie joined the Plumas County Fire Safe Council in October 2023. Prior to joining the PCFSC, she spent five years working in Timber Management for the Plumas National Forest on the Beckwourth Ranger District. She grew up in Aptos, CA where her love of forests began. She resides in Eastern Plumas County and spends her free time gardening, skiing, & hunting.
